Meaning of Success
The real meaning of success is having those closest to me love and respect me the most.
Evaluate each day from the perspective of your own values:
When you get up in the morning ask yourself, “What good will I do today?
When you go to bed at night ask yourself, “What good did I do today?”
Every day I will make the conscious effort to invest good into my relationships with others.
That means I will give more than I expect to receive, love others unconditionally, look for ways to build up others, and bring joy and security to those relationships I hold dear.
To build positive relationships keep in mind truths about people and act to build them up.
People are insecure…give them confidence.
People want to feel special…sincerely compliment them.
People deserve a better tomorrow…show them hope.
People need to be understood…listen to them.
People are selfish…speak to their needs first.
People are emotionally low…encourage them.
People want to be associated with success…help them win.

Being a Real Team Player
“With one minor exception, the world is made up entirely of other people.” John Maxwell
Once we realize that our success and enjoyment in running is a team effort, we begin to appreciate the efforts and successes of others. We need to become a great cheerleader for our teammates and celebrate in their accomplishments and not just expect them to celebrate ours.
Success is not a competition. It is impossible to accomplish anything that matters by ourselves. Life is definitely better when you have a group of people who you love and who also love and care for you. Other people have an impact on every single part of your life!
To become a real Team Player we should remember these things:
My success can be achieved only with the help of others.
My lessons can be learned only from others.
My weaknesses can be strengthened only by others.
My servanthood can be tested only under others’ leadership.
My influence can be multiplied only through others.
My leadership can be focused only on others.
My best can be given only to others.
My legacy can be left only for others.
So I should commit myself and celebrate with others!!!
